Kauai 2010 - Day 7

UPDATE: After letting my camera sit without a memory card, battery or auxiliary battery for a few hours, I tried it one last time and it turned back on! YAY!!!

The day started off great! We all got up early as us boys got ready for ATVing, the girls wanted to see us off. We scarfed down some cereal and hit the road. The girls ended up going to get breakfast after we had left.

On the way, I took a test shot with my camera and the screen froze. I thought that was weird so I turned it off after which nothing happened. The screen was still displaying the last picture I took. I took out the battery, tried again, nothing...so I decided I would just leave it behind and mess with it after the tour. I still took some good pics with my phone, but was bummed I couldn't have my nice camera with me.

Kauai 2010 - Day 6

After another lazy morning, we went out to Waimea and had lunch at the old Waimea Brewing Co. Its on a plantation with some cool trees and a black sand beach. We had a lot of fun taking pictures after some yummy food.

When we got back, we played a round of mini-golf at the Lawai.

Such a great day!

Kauai 2010 - Day 5

Today was a very relaxing, chill day. We spent the morning on the lanai and watched some Hawaiian tree trimmers climb some palm trees. There were also some surfers catching some waves. I made Steph breakfast and just soaked in the beauty of it all.

For lunch, we went to Brennecke's and then spent time at Poipu Beach Park where we snorkeled and saw a pup seal and sea turtle.

After some fun in the sun, we came back to the condo and watched Daddy Day Care and Couples Retreat, had some dinner and are now headed off to sleep.

Like I said, a really relaxing, chill day.

Kauai 2010 - Day 4

Another day has passed and a reminder that it will soon come to an end. Until then, we're still having a lot of fun!

Steph and I went to the gym today while the parents went on a walk to Spouting Horn. After yesterday's long walk to the Sheraton and a little overheating on her part, we decided we'd skip and walk on the treadmill in air-conditioning.

After, we drove down to Spouting Horn and took some pics!

Steph found a friend but it didn't want to play with her...
